🎶 Friday Nite Social: Bachata for LA's ENM & LGBTQ+ Folx 💃

Join Misfits in Love for a beginner-friendly Sensual Bachata class, where anyone can lead, follow, or switch it up! No traditional roles, no expectations—just movement, play, and community.

Our incredible instructor, Dunya-Sharon (she/they), will guide us through a warm-up to get you comfortable in your body and ready to move. From there, a demo and a beginner friendly Sensual Bachata routine will be taught with consent built into the flow. We’ll rotate partners throughout the class, giving everyone a chance to connect and experience both leading and following.

💫 In this inclusive queer and enm space, our dance isn’t about rigid conventional roles—it’s about trust, adaptability, and stepping into new perspectives. If you usually lead, try following. If you love following, experiment with leading. Both roles make you a stronger, more connected dancer and human!

We’ll finish the night with our Sensual Bachata Social! 🎶✨ Stay, dance, and practice your newfound skills in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Meet new people, explore movement, and embrace the rhythm.

No experience? No partner? No problem! Come solo or with a partner and explore the play and connection of Sensual Bachata in a judgment-free space designed for LA’s ENM & LGBTQ+ communities.

We’ll be dancing in a 4,000 sq. ft. ballroom with hardwood floors, 20-foot ceilings, and dreamy cityscape views.
